The Cedar Cottage Adult Day Centre is located inside the Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House. The center provides supportive, culturally inclusive health, social stimulation and therapeutic recreational programs to older adults with physical and/or cognitive challenges who lives in the community by themselves or with caregivers.

How to access

  • Review eligibility and referral process

    Eligibility is determined by home and community case managers in conjunction with Adult Day Program professional staff based on an assessment process.

    • Adults aged 60 and over
    • Resident of Vancouver
    • Priority is given to individuals living within the Cedar Cottage/Kensington area with complex health issues. People living in surrounding areas are welcome when space is available. 

    Arrange for care by contacting the Vancouver home and community care office at (604) 263-7377 or have a health-care professional make a referral on your behalf.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on statutory holidays. Program runs from Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

How to get here

HandyDart can be arranged for pick-up and drop-off. 

Drop-off area (passenger zone) is located in front of Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House.  Street parking is available from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
